Player of the Month - February

The Supporters Club Player of the Month for February is Adam Oakes - not for the first time!

The picture shows Adam receiving his award from Tim Barnett - Vice Chairman of the Supporters Club - before the match against New Mills on Wednesday evening.

Walk to New Mills

Following in the footsteps of Foggy, Compo and Clegg last season, a fair number of people have indicated that they would be willing to join the gentle stroll (via the odd watering hole) to New Mills for the match on Easter Monday.This is a 3 pm kick off so it looks like we would need to leave Glossop around 10 am to allow for suitable refreshment stops.More detail to come but something to look forward to in the, hopefully, better weather to come.

Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride

This is by way of information only at this stage.Yet again, Chairman Dave is doing the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride in July. This year we will look at using this as a fundraiser for the Development Fund.If anyone else is interested in doing the bike ride and would be happy to raise money for the Development Fund, please let us know and we will try to get sponsorship forms etc. organised.

Possible Quiz Night

A few people have suggested that we should try again to organise a quiz night.
More than happy to do that should there be enough people interested.
Proposed date is Sunday April 24th and we are looking for some input on this. Specifically, suggestions for a venue and if you would be interested in taking part.

Vodkat League Cup Quarter Final Draw

The draw for the quarter final games has now taken place, and GNE have been drawn against New Mills at Surrey St on Monday 2nd May.

Adam will be presented with his award prior to the New Mills game on Weds 16th March.
