The NonLeagueDaily are reporting that Rick Bailey has signed for Woodley Sports and will play in the Evo-Stik League Division One North for next season.Gareth McClelland, manager of Woodley Sports, has secured the signing of Rick Bailey from under the noses of several other rival teams.
Bailey was part of the Glossop North End side that reached the FA Vase Final and was named Hillmen supporters` player of the year for 2009/10.
He had held talks with a number of clubs, including Curzon Ashton, but signed for Woodley after holding talks with the management.
Bailey said he appreciates what the club is looking to achieve and is really looking forward to the season ahead.
