Rick lives in Bollington and has found the travelling to Glossop for matches and training somewhat difficult. Playing three games in five days last week has probably not helped this situation.
However, we wish Rick well in his future career and please remember that the next time we meet up with him we will have to remember that in Cheshire Rick is known as Richard!
Not surprised after Saturday. Another early hooking, and Rick was straight to the dressing room. I thought it last season, and the little I've seen of Rick this season hasn't changed my mind - he doesn't seem to fit in a 4-4-2. He needs to break from midfield, and do it freed of the discipline a 4 man midfield needs to have. That said, his first couple of seasons could not have been better, and we should be grateful for his contribution to the club.
