I must be missing something here.
ReplyDeleteIf we're to believe what we're told, last season the board gave Steve everything he wanted in terms of a playing budget and they were rewarded with a lower league finish, some pretty woeful performances and not a sniff of any silverware. Steve can't be in a strong position going into the meeting but you couldn't tell that from the article.
I wonder if he plays poker?
steve will also have to recognize that last years budget was set with a sponsor in place. he should expect a cut...and probably a significant one
